Celebrating Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos)

During FFAW, the Whitney hosts a community art-making event for the Day of the Dead in conjunction with the Arts in Recovery for Youth show, Finding Our Light. To celebrate Dia de Los Muertos and remember loved ones who have passed away, art-making activities will include memory boxes, calveras, face tattoos and more. On view are over 90 works of art by young people in the AIRY program including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, poetry, digital art and film. Free and family friendly.
