SUN, APRIL 14, 10 am, AIRY FILM SCREENING at Unitarian Universalist Church, 175 Wendell Ave, Pittsfield

‘Messages of Hope’ is a 24 minute documentary chronicling the Arts in Recovery for Youth program in downtown Pittsfield, and featuring youth who have recovered from suicidality through the expression arts. The documentary has received support from Senator Hinds, BCSP and Berkshire Theatre Group in the shared mission to stop youth suicide.

The film was directed and produced by AIRY member, Raymond Brown and Brown Out Pictures this past winter with behind the scenes footage of what happens in the studio, gallery and community when art opens doors and heals us all. FRIDAY, MAY 10, 2019, 6 pm – Volunteer Meeting at NUarts, 21 Union St, downtown Pittsfield.

VOLUNTEERS are needed for AIRY! We need to raise enough money to keep free youth suicide prevention programming going all year long. Thanks to Commonfolk, there will be our second CARPE DIEM outdoor music and art festival, at Adams Aggie Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 14, 2019. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to get sponsors, run art activities, sell art, answer questions, fundraise and more.
