Description: On Sunday, February 10, 2019, from 2-5 pm, the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield hosted a celebration of youth survivors during Valentine’s week, aptly titled “Love Yourself”. Arts in Recovery for Youth joined with Berkshire Pulse dancers, Berkshire Theatre Group acapella singers, Filmmaker Raymond Brown, an acoustic solo performance by Grace Ida Marks, AIRY youth poets, artists and lived experience speakers, and community talks by Senator Adam Hinds, AIRY Director, Marney Schorr and Lee Watroba, President of the Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention. Art show and sale (ongoing through March 18th) benefits youth suicide prevention, live performances and sneak preview of our AIRY documentary, all highlighted this very special LGBQT+ friendly community event. Free and open to all.
