Molly Harrington Fund & Art for Sale

Molly Harrington was a long term member of AIRY. She was an emerging artist with prolific talent in both digital art and crocheting. Molly was such a valuable part of the program helping others while also overcoming her own adversity. Sadly, Molly passed away due to health issues in 2024. AIRY is honoring her by continuing to share her art in the community. Purchase of her digital art framed prints (scroll below), sales of artwork from our shows and your donations will go to the Molly Harrington Scholarship Fund in the AIRY Program.

The Molly Harrington Fund will enable teens and young adults in AIRY to enroll in programs and activities in the arts which they otherwise could not afford. AIRY serves predominantly low income families with lack of access to resources, including the arts, as well as other challenges such as school bullying, environmental trauma, marginalization in the LGBTQIA+ community and stigma about mental health. Connecting these youth to the community and giving them the freedom to express themselves through the arts can greatly help reduce feelings of suicidality, burdensomeness and lack of belonging. The arts make a difference in their lives, help them on their road to recovery, and learn that they are not alone. We hope that establishing this fund in memory of Molly will continue to inspire new and established artists as well as community members – to know they are a part of the solution to the public health problem of youth suicide, for together we rise.

We invite you to donate to this fund by cash, “, PayPal or through our GoFundMe page at www.gofundme.com/f/molly-harrington-scholarship-fund-airy, and checks made payable to “Molly Harrington Fund” and mailed to Marney Schorr, Director of AIRY, at 311 North St, Pittsfield MA 01201. You can also purchase prints (framed or unframed) of Molly’s digital art at any of our community events or by contacting us at airyberkshires@gmail.com. AIRY Bridge MH Fund Family Assistance Program

We are pleased to announce the AIRY Bridge MH Fund Family Assistance Program. Through this new program, we are able to provide some food or utilities assistance to our struggling families in light of the recent governmental changes and the shutdown that lasted from 10/1/2025 to 11/12/2025. We started in November 2025, where we donated food bags and grocery gift cards to 20 families in need the week before Thanksgiving. However, more and more families continue to struggle.

AIRY’s mission is to save young lives, and we recognize that financial hardship adds great stress to our members, families, and community. We hope you will join us in this community connection where good people come together to pay it forward and help someone when and however they can.

This program is made possible by the Molly Harrington Fund. Her family and the community continue to donate to this fund in order to help AIRY families in difficult times. This program runs in conjunction with AIRY Bridge, where we help folks get connected to resources.
